Gambian youngster Ansumana Samura produced a brilliant hat-trick as Al Hilal SC thrashed Kiyovu Sports 5-0 in a pre-season friendly, continuing his impressive goalscoring form in Sudan.

The forward was the standout performer, scoring three goals as the Sudanese giants dominated the Rwandan side throughout the match.

Samura’s latest display builds on an encouraging start to his Al Hilal career, with the Gambian attacker increasingly establishing himself as a potent attacking threat ahead of the new season.

The 19-year-old also enjoyed a successful CECAFA Kagame Cup campaign, scoring three goals to help Al Hilal secure the bronze medal and finishing among the tournament’s joint top scorers.

His consistent performances have highlighted both his clinical finishing and his growing influence in the final third.

Samura is regarded as one of The Gambia’s promising young talents, and his recent form is expected to boost expectations as Al Hilal prepares for the start of its competitive campaign.
