FC Twente secured qualification for the knockout stage from Group E after a goalless draw against Fatoumata’s Print FC on Match Day 42 of the competition on Monday.
Neither side managed to break the deadlock in a closely contested encounter, with the match ending 0–0.
The result was enough for FC Twente to finish second in Group E with four points, edging Ghana Town on goal difference after both teams ended the group stage level on points.
FC Kion topped the group with five points, following a consistent campaign that earned them first place and automatic qualification as group winners.
Ghana Town finished third with four points, missing out on qualification due to an inferior goal difference, while Fatoumata’s Print FC ended bottom of the standings with two points.
With the conclusion of the Group E fixtures, FC Kion and FC Twente advance to the knockout stage, while Ghana Town and Fatoumata’s Print FC exit the competition.
