Gambian international athlete Edrisa Jammeh, popularly known as “Power Bank”, finished third in the United Arab Emirates Sahara 4km Run.
The Tujereng-born athlete completed the race in approximately 14 minutes despite competing with a knee injury that had affected his preparations.
Jammeh maintained his composure throughout the race and secured a podium finish despite the physical setback.
His third-place finish adds to his growing list of achievements and represents another opportunity for the Gambian athlete to showcase his ability on the international stage.
The performance also highlights Jammeh’s determination to remain competitive despite injury as he continues his athletics career.
