Gambian midfielder Mouhamadou Drammeh scored for Universitatea Cluj in their 4-3 home defeat to FC Rapid București in the Romanian SuperLiga on Monday.
Drammeh netted his side’s second goal in the 54th minute of the Matchday 11 encounter, contributing to Universitatea Cluj’s efforts to recover from a difficult position in the seven-goal contest.
However, the hosts were unable to prevent Rapid București from securing all three points in a closely fought encounter.
Despite the defeat, Drammeh’s goal provided a positive moment for the Gambian international, who continues to gain experience in European football.
Universitatea Cluj will now look to recover from the setback in their next league fixture, while Drammeh will hope to build on his scoring contribution as the season progresses.
