Gambian midfielder Mustapha Badjie has completed a permanent transfer from Real de Banjul FC to Czech second-tier side Viktoria Žižkov.
The move marks Badjie’s first transfer to European football and makes him the latest Gambian player to secure a move abroad.
According to his agent, Modou Lamin Beyai, several European clubs had expressed interest in the midfielder before Viktoria Žižkov finalised the deal.
Badjie leaves Real de Banjul after establishing himself as one of the club’s promising young midfielders.
He is expected to continue his development in the Czech Republic as Viktoria Žižkov prepare for the new season.
The transfer adds to the growing number of Gambian footballers joining European clubs, reflecting the country’s continued production of emerging football talent.
