Arret Njie Jah Appointed FIFA Match Commissioner for Olympic Qualifier

Gambian football administrator Arret Njie Jah has been appointed by FIFA as Match Commissioner for the second-leg fixture between Nigeria and Comoros in the African Zone Round 2 of the Los Angeles 2028 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament qualifiers.

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) announced the appointment ahead of the decisive encounter, which is scheduled for Oct. 13, 2026, at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Nigeria.

Kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 local time.

As Match Commissioner, Njie Jah will oversee key organisational and administrative aspects of the fixture and work with the appointed match officials and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with FIFA regulations.

The appointment represents another recognition of Gambian football administration at the international level and highlights the contribution of Gambian officials to FIFA and CAF competitions.

The GFF expressed its pleasure at the appointment and wished Njie Jah success as she prepares to represent The Gambia in the important continental assignment.
