Gambian forward Ansumana Samura is set to complete a permanent transfer to Sudanese giants Al Hilal SC after the club reached an agreement with Gambinos Stars Africa.
The talented attacker has already travelled to finalise the move, with only the completion of remaining formalities standing between him and an official unveiling by the Sudanese club.
Samura gained prominence following an impressive loan spell with Senegalese Ligue 1 side Casa Sports during the 2025/26 season, where he enjoyed a breakthrough campaign.
The Gambian forward scored seven goals and provided eight assists, establishing himself as one of the most promising young attacking talents in the region.
His expected move to Al Hilal SC marks another significant step in his career, as he prepares to compete for one of Africa’s most successful clubs and feature on the CAF Champions League stage.
The transfer further highlights the growing presence of Gambian players in top African football competitions.
