Gambian midfielder Amara Camara has completed a permanent move from Real de Banjul to Swedish top-flight club Kalmar FF.

Camara has signed a five-year contract with Kalmar FF that will keep him at the Swedish club until June 2031.

The transfer marks the latest step in the young midfielder’s career after his spell with Real de Banjul, one of The Gambia’s leading domestic clubs.

Camara will now join Kalmar FF as he begins his career in European football and seeks to adapt to the demands of Sweden’s Allsvenskan.

During his time with Real de Banjul, Camara established himself as one of the club’s promising young players before securing the move to Sweden.

His transfer adds to the growing number of Gambian players pursuing professional careers in European leagues.

Camara is expected to begin preparations with Kalmar FF as he looks to establish himself in the Swedish top flight and continue his development.
