Mohammed Marigo has been named the Best Referee of the 2025/26 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League in recognition of his outstanding performances throughout the season.
The award was presented during the league’s awards ceremony, where Marigo was honoured for his consistency, professionalism and commitment to maintaining high officiating standards in the country’s top-flight football competition.
Marigo was widely praised during the season for his ability to manage matches effectively, apply the laws of the game fairly and make crucial decisions under pressure.
He officiated several key fixtures during the campaign and earned recognition from players, coaches and football administrators for his integrity and professionalism.
