The Serrekunda East Sports Development Organization (SESDO) on Wednesday held its 2026 pre-season technical meeting as part of preparations for its forthcoming qualifiers.
The meeting brought together executive members, representatives of participating teams and other stakeholders to discuss organizational and technical arrangements for the competition.
SESDO President Modou Yusupha Cham chaired the meeting, which was attended by members of the Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Appeals and Disciplinary Committee, Alhagie Ebrima Nyassi.
Proceedings began with team registration and a welcome address by Secretary General Ebrima Jagne, who outlined the agenda before inviting the president to officially open the session.
In his remarks, Cham congratulated the participating teams and emphasized the need for compliance with the organization’s rules and regulations throughout the competition.
He also outlined the qualification process, including team approval procedures, capacity-building activities, registration requirements for players and officials, and matchday protocols.
Nyassi urged teams to uphold discipline, unity and fair play during the qualifiers and briefed participants on the role and responsibilities of the Appeals and Disciplinary Committee.
Senior referee Abass Bah also addressed the meeting, stressing the importance of professionalism, discipline and respect for the laws of the game.
Later, Jagne presented the rules and regulations governing the 2026 qualifiers. The regulations were subsequently adopted following discussions with team representatives.
The meeting concluded with the official draw conducted by the Technical Committee under the supervision of Second Vice President Lamin Manneh and Programme Officer for Football Sheriffo Sanyang.
