NPP Announces Three-Day Programme Ahead of 2026 Elections

The National People’s Party (NPP) has announced a series of activities scheduled for 19-21 June 2026 as part of its preparations ahead of the 2026 elections.

According to a statement issued by the party’s Deputy Spokesperson, Seedy SK Njie, the programme will include the unveiling of the party’s manifesto, a political rally and the distribution of vehicles and motorbikes to party structures.

The statement said the NPP will officially launch its manifesto and 9-Point Agenda on 19 June, outlining its policy priorities and development plans.

On 20 June, the NPP Grand Alliance will hold a rally at the SSP grounds in Brikama as part of its “Road to 2026” campaign activities. The event is expected to bring together alliance partners, party officials and supporters.

The programme will conclude on 21 June in Banjul with the distribution of vehicles and motorbikes aimed at supporting the party’s logistical and mobilisation efforts.

The NPP said the activities form part of its ongoing engagement with supporters and stakeholders as it prepares for the 2026 electoral cycle.

The party stated that it remains committed to its vision for national development and political participation.
