The United States Embassy in Banjul has announced that Deputy Chief of Mission Robert Anderson has assumed duties as Chargé d’Affaires, following the departure of Eugene S. Young.
In a statement, the Embassy said Anderson brings extensive diplomatic experience from various international postings.
It added that it looks forward to continued cooperation with the Government of The Gambia, the diplomatic community, and other partners under his leadership.
The transition comes as the Embassy continues its diplomatic engagement and partnership activities in The Gambia.
