Mansawally FC secured their Third Division status with a crucial 1-0 away victory over Edinburgh FC at the Essau Football Field. Almamo Jaiteh emerged as the hero, netting the decisive goal in the 73rd minute to keep his side in the division.
The result guarantees survival for Mansawally, while Edinburgh FC’s defeat confirms their relegation.
Rockland United 0-0 Noo Kunda United
(Noo Kunda United won 4-1 on penalties)
After a tense, goalless contest at the Farafenni Mini Stadium, the tie was decided by a penalty shootout.
Noo Kunda United held their composure, converting all four of their spot-kicks, while Rockland United missed twice as Noo Kunda claimed a convincing 4-1 shootout victory.
