Gambian international Muhammed Badamosi continued his impressive scoring form by netting his 12th league goal of the season as Riga FC defeated Ogre United 4-1 in the Latvian Virsliga on Sunday.
The striker was on target during the convincing victory, extending a rich vein of form that has seen him score in five of his last six league matches.
Badamosi’s only scoreless appearance during that run came against Jelgava, but the forward has otherwise remained a consistent threat in front of goal for Riga FC.
Over his last six league outings, the Gambian has contributed four goals and two assists, underlining his growing influence in the club’s attacking setup.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable debut season in Latvia, scoring 12 league goals from just 10 starts to establish himself among the top-performing forwards in the Virsliga.
His goalscoring exploits have played a key role in Riga FC’s campaign as the club continues its pursuit of success in the Latvian top flight.
Badamosi’s latest strike further enhances his reputation as one of the league’s most prolific attackers and strengthens his standing as one of Gambia’s leading football exports in Europe.
