BK West United and Gambinos FC have progressed to the next stage of their respective Third Division promotion play-offs following victories over Huskers FC and Nema United Community.
At the Father Gough Sports Complex, BK West United defeated Huskers FC 3-0 to secure a place in the second stage of the Kanifing Municipality (KM) Third Division Promotion Play-offs.
After a goalless first half, BK West United took control of the match after the break, with goals from Pamodou Secka, Mustapha Camara and Sanna Minteh sealing the victory.
The win sets up a second-round meeting against the winner of the match between Football Hero FC and Bakau United for a place in the semi-finals of the 2026 KM Third Division League.
In the West Coast Region Third Division Promotion Play-offs, Gambinos FC defeated Nema United Community 3-1 to advance to the second phase of the competition.
The victory keeps Gambinos FC in contention for a place in the semi-finals and maintains the club’s hopes of securing promotion.
