Bojang Sankaranka Shipping and Logistics Services has been named the Clearing and Forwarding Agency of the Year 2025 by the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA).

The award was presented at the 8th edition of the GRA Taxpayers Awards and Recognition Night held on 23 May at Coco Ocean Resort and Spa.

President Adama Barrow presented the award to the company in recognition of its strong tax compliance record, including timely filing of returns and consistent payment of tax obligations.

According to the GRA, the award recognises clearing and forwarding agencies that demonstrate exemplary compliance with customs procedures and contribute to national revenue generation.

The agency, owned and managed by Kebba Bojang, was commended for its role in facilitating trade and adhering to tax regulations in The Gambia’s logistics sector.

Speaking after receiving the award, Mr. Bojang expressed gratitude and described the recognition as a reflection of the company’s commitment to compliance and professionalism.

He credited part of the achievement to guidance from the Secretary General of the Association of Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents (ACCFA), Momodou Sowe.

Mr. Bojang also encouraged other industry players to remain compliant with tax obligations, noting that such discipline contributes to national development and long-term business success.

He said receiving the award from the Head of State was a motivating factor to maintain high standards in his operations.

The GRA Taxpayers Awards is an annual event aimed at recognising individuals and businesses that demonstrate excellence in tax compliance and contribute to economic development.
