Matchweek Three Delivers Drama and Dominance in NBRFA Women’s Third Division

Women’s Third Division League Matchweek Three fixtures delivered thrilling action on Sunday, with Chamen FC staging a comeback to earn a draw, while Central Badibou United produced a dominant attacking display to secure a comprehensive victory.

At the Chamen Football Field, Chamen FC and Star AFC played out an entertaining 1–1 draw. Star AFC took the lead in the 36th minute when Binta Joof finished calmly to give her side a first-half advantage. Chamen FC responded after the break and restored parity in the 71st minute through Mariama Dumbuya, whose goal ensured the home side salvaged a point after a spirited second-half performance.

At the Kunjo Football Field, Central Badibou United delivered a commanding performance, defeating Sabach Sanjal FC 5–0. Fatou Ndow opened the scoring just a minute into the match before doubling her tally in the 27th minute. Binta Dampha added the second goal moments later, followed by Amie Camara in the 34th minute as Central Badibou United dominated the first half. Kumba Jallow completed the rout in the 66th minute, capping a convincing team display.
