By Bakary Ceesay

The German city of Bremen will host the third edition of the Women’s Cultural Festival on 30 May 2026, bringing together culture, music and advocacy in support of women’s empowerment.

Organised by Lundu e.V., the festival will be held under the theme: “Together Against Violence Against Girls and Women.”

The event will feature live performances by Senegalese artists Titi and Nachte Lo, alongside panel discussions and cultural activities aimed at promoting dialogue on the protection and empowerment of women.

According to the organisers, the festival is open to women and their families from all backgrounds and seeks to provide a platform for participants to connect, share experiences and inspire one another.

Panel discussions are expected to begin at 1700 GMT, followed by a live concert at 2000 GMT. An after-party will conclude the event.

Organisers said proceeds from the festival would support initiatives by Lundu e.V. focused on combating violence against women and promoting inclusion and empowerment in society.
