Jam City and Gambinos Star, the two highest-scoring teams in the West Coast Regional Football Association (WCRFA) Male Third Division League, were held to a surprise 0-0 draw as Matchday action produced mostly stalemates.
The encounter, played in Jambanjelly, defied expectations as both sides, who had combined for 27 goals prior to the fixture, failed to find the net in a tightly contested game.
Elsewhere, Misera United and Berewuleng settled for a 1-1 draw at the Brikama SSP ground, while Marakissa and GCAA/BIA also shared the spoils with a similar scoreline.
In Farato, Nema United Community and Team Menmar played out another 1-1 draw in a closely fought contest.
The only win of the round came in Banjulinding, where Saidy’s FC secured a 2-0 victory over G/Star, marking the standout result of the matchday.
The results underline the competitive nature of the league, with teams closely matched as the season progresses.
