In the boys’ category, Ebrima Camara of Presentation maintained his impressive form in the U15 100m event, further strengthening his reputation as one of the standout young sprinters in the competition.

Meanwhile, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, excitement reached a peak during a face-to-face encounter organised by the Gomsa Bopa Wrestling Promotion, led by Gumbo Gaye, ahead of a highly anticipated bout between Mboran of Ebo Town and Sakadior of Jabang.

The face-off drew large crowds, with fans creating a vibrant atmosphere through chants and drumming as both wrestlers exchanged intense stares, signalling readiness for the upcoming clash.

The event was attended by dignitaries, including Mr. Amadou Sanneh, nephew of President Adama Barrow, and featured the presence of a flag named in honour of the President, adding ceremonial significance to the occasion.
