The Bakau Sports Committee (BSC) has released its 2026 competitions calendar, outlining a year-long programme of sporting activities and community engagement events.
The calendar features a series of competitions across multiple disciplines aimed at promoting sports development among athletes and teams in Bakau. Activities will commence in May with a Tennis Competition scheduled for 9–10 May, followed by a Handball tournament from 30 May to 26 June.
The Football Academy Championship is set for 13 June, while registration for the Nawettan season will open on 15 June and close on 19 July.
The Nawettan Basketball Competition is scheduled for 25 July to 30 August, alongside a Beach Volleyball Competition set for 27–31 July. The Nawettan Preliminary Competition will run from 29 July to 2 August.
Capacity-building training for coaches and team managers is planned from 1 to 8 September, followed by the Nawettan Final draw on 13 September. The Super Cup will be played on 19 September, with the Nawettan Final Competition beginning on 22 September.
Later events include a Volleyball Competition from 25 November to 3 December. The season will conclude with the League Final on 19 December, the Knockout Final on 26 December, and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 December.
