Dollars FC Retain Tanji Youth League Title

Dollars FC have successfully defended their title after defeating Amsterdam FC 2–1 in the final of the Tanji Youth League played at the Tanji Mini Park.

The match, organised by the Tanji Youths and Sports Development Committee in collaboration with the NPP Youth Wing, attracted a large crowd and showcased the growing appeal of grassroots football in the community.

Dollars FC took an early lead in the 7th minute through Sarjo Badjie, who scored from a well-taken free kick.

Amsterdam FC responded four minutes later when Alassan Saidy converted a penalty to level the score at 1–1.

Before halftime, Dollars FC regained the lead after Kitabu Sanneh calmly converted from the penalty spot, giving his side a 2–1 advantage at the break.

In the second half, Amsterdam FC mounted sustained pressure in search of an equaliser, but Dollars FC’s defence, supported by outstanding goalkeeping, held firm to preserve their lead.

The victory confirms Dollars FC’s dominance in the competition as they retain the league title.
