Week 5 of the KMRFA 3rd Division League delivered drama across Serrekunda, with thrilling comebacks, dominant victories, and tightly contested matches keeping fans on edge.
At Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, KWT Giants FC overturned an early deficit to defeat Fajara South FC 2-1. After conceding an own goal, KWT Giants were levelled in the 85th minute by Fara Mendes, before Ebrima Barry struck the winner two minutes later.
Over at Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, Bakau United registered a comprehensive 4-0 victory over BK West United. Fansu Sanyang opened the scoring, followed by a brace from Ebrima Suwareh, while Muhammed Drammeh added a late goal to complete the rout.
In another West Serrekunda encounter, Bakau Komani FC and T. Town FC played out a 1-1 draw. Famara Bojang gave Komani the lead, with Demba Sow equalising for T. Town.
Latrikunda United edged Universal Sporting Boys 1-0 at Serrekunda West, courtesy of an early strike by Demba Njie in the 10th minute. Meanwhile, Budung Stars FC secured a narrow 1-0 win over Abuko South FC in Serrekunda East, with Saikou Sillah scoring in the 12th minute.
Week 5 highlighted the competitive spirit of the league, as teams battled for crucial points in the ongoing season.
