At Basori, Medina United asserted their authority with a 3-0 victory over Hawks FC, combining sharp attacking play with defensive discipline to secure a smooth passage to the next round.
In Bakau, Falcons FC, also known as “The Blue Army,” matched the 3-0 scoreline against Unique Global. The match also highlighted young talents, with Fakebba Susso and former Essau United striker Adama Jallow making full debuts and contributing to a confident Falcons display.
At the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama, Fortune FC edged second-division side Elite United 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation. Muhammed Gomez scored for Elite United, while Abdoulie Jallow equalised for Fortune, with the shootout ultimately deciding the winner.
In Jarra Soma, North Star FC advanced following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sowokono. Lamin Badjie opened the scoring early in the second half before Sheikh Njie sealed the victory in the 80th minute.
