The Gambia Volleyball Federation (GVF) has announced the rescheduling of the Senegambia Volleyball Tournament, citing unforeseen international commitments affecting key stakeholders.
According to the Federation, the regional competition, originally slated for 7 to 12 April 2026, will now be held from 28 April to 3 May 2026.
GVF explained that the adjustment was necessitated by an unexpected clash with international engagements involving participants and partners, stressing that the change is aimed at ensuring full participation and maintaining the quality and competitiveness of the tournament.
The Federation expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the revision of the dates and appealed for continued understanding and support from participating teams, partners, and volleyball enthusiasts across the region.
Further details on fixtures, participating teams, and venues are expected to be announced in the coming days.
