As the NBR Third Division League enters its fourth week, the competition for the Golden Boot is already taking shape, with several forwards making strong early statements in the race for top scorer.
Ballangharr United captain Babucarr Saine currently leads the standings with four goals, setting the early pace with an impressive start to the campaign. Closely following is King Power FC striker Alagie Manneh, who has netted three goals and remains firmly in contention.
Behind the leading duo, a cluster of players are locked on two goals each, keeping the race wide open. They include Ensa Jammeh of Jalikassa FC, Lamin Tabally of Spurs FA, Bakary Bah of Timeless FC, and Ousman Jagne of Rockland United.
With Matchweek Four set to kick off tomorrow, attention now turns to which of the leading contenders will seize the moment, boost their tally, and move a step closer to claiming the coveted Golden Boot.
