Fortune FC secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Hart’s FC at Box Bar Stadium after a stoppage-time double sealed a thrilling encounter on Sunday.
The “Petroleum Boys” took the lead in the 79th minute through Salifu Jarju, who fired home a stunning strike to put Fortune FC in control heading into the closing stages.
However, Hart’s FC fought back deep into stoppage time, grabbing an equaliser in the 90+8 minute to level the match and appear to have salvaged a point.
In a dramatic finale, Fortune FC responded almost immediately, netting the winner in the 90+14 minute to complete a remarkable comeback and secure all three points.
The result lifts Fortune FC to the top of the table, while Hart’s FC were left disappointed after conceding a late decisive goal.
