Takaful Insurance has donated dustbins to the Pipeline Mosque in a move aimed at promoting cleanliness as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The presentation ceremony was held at the mosque on Monday and was attended by staff of Takaful Insurance and members of the mosque committee.
Speaking at the event, Momodou Senghore, a member of the mosque committee, welcomed the donation, saying it will help maintain cleanliness within the mosque environment.
“This contribution will ensure the mosque remains clean and tidy for worshippers and visitors,” he said.
Ndenneh Senghore, Operations Manager at Takaful Insurance, said the donation reflects the company’s CSR commitments and aligns with its values as an Islamic organisation.
He added that the initiative aims to support the mosque’s community activities and strengthen ties between the institution and the company.
Mr Senghore called on mosque users and members of the public to use the dustbins properly and ensure they are well maintained.
“Let us dispose of waste properly and keep our environment clean,” he urged, expressing confidence that the mosque committee will care for the bins, citing their record in maintaining previous donations.
