The Research Brigade of the Keur Massar Company has dismantled a network of 12 individuals suspected of involvement in alleged criminal activities, according to information reported by Seneweb.
Investigators reportedly discovered audio recordings during the examination of mobile phones seized as part of the investigation. The recordings allegedly implicated television presenter Pape Cheikh Diallo and singer Djiby Dramé, according to the report.
During questioning, Diallo is said to have acknowledged certain allegations presented by investigators, while reportedly declining to provide information about other individuals.
Sources cited by Seneweb indicated that one suspect allegedly confirmed awareness of a relationship involving Diallo and another individual identified as Doudou Lamine Dieng, described as a banking employee.
The suspects have been charged with criminal conspiracy and other offences, including allegations related to endangering public health. They are expected to appear before Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor’s office, on Monday, subject to any changes in scheduling.
According to medical reports referenced in the investigation, eight of the suspects were identified as living with HIV.
