The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced a landmark partnership with football analytics firm KoraStat, in a move aimed at modernizing the country’s football operations.
The deal, unveiled on Tuesday, is expected to implement comprehensive, data-driven analysis across all facets of Gambian football. According to the Federation, the collaboration will provide member clubs, starting with the Vista Bank-Baluwo First Division League, scouts, and media outlets with access to advanced performance metrics, professional video tagging, and customized analytical reports.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone for Gambian football,” the Federation said, emphasizing that the integration of KoraStat’s tools will accelerate player development, streamline scouting workflows, and enhance tactical planning for matches and opponent strategies.
The GFF described the collaboration as a strategic investment in the professionalization of football in the country, while also aiming to boost fan engagement through data-rich content.
KoraStat is a football data analytics company offering performance insights to clubs, coaches, scouts, players, federations, and media. The firm provides services such as match analysis, video tagging, custom reports, and API access, helping teams make data-driven decisions to improve player evaluation, scouting, tactical performance, and fan interaction across Africa and beyond.
