In a thrilling match at the ongoing Serekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) summer Nawettan, Border Bii came from behind to defeat United Stars in a dramatic 3-2 victory.
The five-goal encounter was a tense and exciting affair, with both teams showing great resilience. United Stars took the lead twice, but Border Bii fought back on both occasions to level the score.
The momentum shifted when Border Bii scored their third goal, which ultimately proved to be the winner. Despite a late push from United Stars to find an equalizer, Border Bii remained composed and disciplined, holding on for the win until the final whistle.
In a separate match, Ebbeh Gi and Magtab Warriors played to a goalless draw, sharing the points at the Serekunda East mini-stadium.
