President Barrow Embarks on State Visit to Guinea Bissau

President Adama Barrow, this morning, Monday, 8th September 2025, embarks on a two-day state visit to Guinea-Bissau. The visit, which will conclude on September 9, is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to a press release from the State House, President Barrow is set to depart from Banjul International Airport at 9:00 AM.

During his visit, the Gambian leader will hold a private meeting with his counterpart, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, followed by a broader bilateral meeting between delegations from both nations.

President Barrow is also expected to meet with the Gambian community residing in Bissau during his official visit before his return to The Gambia.
