Sunday marks the start of the Brikama Sports Committee summer Nawettan as Kabafita United will play Manduar United in what is expected to be a nail-biting season opener at Brikama Boxbaa mini stadium.
Kabafita United won the league last season after beating Kutajumbul in a thrilling encounter to celebrate a coveted trophy, while Manduar United defeated Santo-Su United in the knockout final to clinch the trophy.
Both teams aim to commence the season on a high note. Clinching this trophy comes second to nothing as far as the two sides are concerned.
Kabafita United is known for its strong fight throughout last season. Their faithful supporters expected the same trend as they piled up at the stadium yesterday to cheer their boys to glory.
