In a message to His Majesty Mohammed VI King of Morocco, President Trump reaffirms the United States of America’s recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara and its support for the Autonomy Proposal as “the only basis for a just and lasting settlement to this dispute”.
Expressing his congratulations on behalf of the United States of America to HM the King and the Moroccan people, President Trump affirmed that the United States values the strong and enduring partnership with Morocco.
Thus, the American President expressed his willingness to pursue the collaboration with the Kingdom of Morocco to promote regional stability, security, peace as well as to expand commercial cooperation that benefits both Americans and Moroccans.
