Malick Kah appeared before Magistrate A. Fofana at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on Friday, facing a charge of theft.
Kah, who was unrepresented, was accused of stealing an iPhone 13 valued at D71,257 from Ramatoulie Sanyang on 21 July 2025 in Brikama, of the West Coast Region.
Police Prosecutor Corporal 6397 A. Bah, appearing on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, requested an adjournment to present witnesses.
The court granted the application and released Kah on D80,000 bail, with two Gambian sureties required to provide valid identification and a sworn affidavit.
The case was adjourned to 5 August 2025 for continuation.
