The Brikama Sports Committee (BSC) elimination fixtures have delivered brilliant performances as teams’ ambitions to reach the cutting edge of the competition intensify.
Wednesday’s fixtures, as expected, produced keenly contested displays as opponents battled for a place in the summer Nawettan proper.
In a game between Benz & BMA and Golden Stars, the former delivered an impressive performance, securing a win against a wasteful Golden Stars side by 2-0 to advance to the next round of the BSC Nawettan qualifiers.
Sinchu Jola Kunda, a team that has been impressive in past qualifiers but could not secure a spot in the summer Nawettan, triumphed over Ram’s Rising Stars with a 1-0 victory, progressing to the second-round stage.
In Thursday’s matches of the Brikama Sports Committee qualifiers, German will lock horns with Kanyi’s FC of New Yundum in the 3 PM kick-off.
In another highly anticipated fixture in the evening, Bakary Sambouya United will face Nyambai Hearts, promising another thrilling encounter for local football fans.
