Gambian recording artiste Skepper is making waves with his latest Afrobeat release, ‘Jungle’, a captivating collaboration with fellow Gambian talent Hussain Dada. Released on May 13, 2025, and produced by EssentialMusik, the track is quickly gaining momentum both locally and internationally.

Blending smooth vocals, a laid-back yet rhythmic beat, and authentic Gambian flair, “Jungle” explores the emotional highs and lows of love, its thrill, risk, mystery, and depth. Hussain Dada delivers a standout verse in Mandinka, adding a culturally rich dimension to the track.

“This song was inspired by the wild, unpredictable, and passionate journey of love,” Skepper shared. “Just like a jungle, love can be confusing, intense, beautiful, and even dangerous. I wanted to capture that feeling of getting lost in someone, how love can be both scary and magical.”

Since its release, ‘Jungle’ has received rave reviews, with strong airplay and positive feedback pouring in from across the globe. The official music video is also garnering attention, helping build momentum for what Skepper hopes will be a breakthrough hit on the international stage.

“My goal is for this song to break into the global music market,” Skepper said. “The response has been overwhelming just positive vibes all around. I’m excited to see how far this song will go.”

Skepper began his music journey in 2016 as a freestyle artist, releasing his first studio single while still in school. His major turning point came in 2024, just before graduation, with the release of another anthem, “Distance,” also produced by EssentialMusik. Since then, he has continued to evolve his sound and expand his fan base.

With “Jungle” gaining traction, Skepper is already preparing for what’s next: “I’m planning to drop a few more singles soon, and I’ve got a show lined up as well,” he revealed.

“Jungle” is now available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms.
