Berewuleng FC has won the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Division One League for the first time in the club’s history, finishing the 2024/2025 season undefeated.

In a thrilling encounter against second-placed TMT FC, Berewuleng’s Sarah Jarju stole the show with a brace that secured the Brikama-based team’s maiden Division One trophy.

The first half ended goalless, with both teams unable to capitalize on the chances created during the opening 45 minutes.

TMT initially took the lead through Laize Emboloco before Sarah Jarju’s outstanding double overturned the scoreline, giving Berewuleng FC a 2-1 comeback victory.

As champions, Berewuleng FC received gold medals, a prestigious trophy, and a cash prize of D500,000.

Red Scorpions secured second place after a convincing 5-1 victory against Police FC, earning D250,000 as runners-up.
