Senegalese international footballer Sadio Mané is currently visiting The Gambia, engaging in promotional events and exploring future investment and collaboration opportunities in sports and development.
Speaking to GRTS, Mané expressed his affection for The Gambia, stating he loves the country deeply.
“I think this visit was supposed to happen a long time ago, but I was busy with my schedule. This is the first time I’ve had a month and a half off, so I’m really happy. Time always tells us. Today, I’ve come to The Gambia, one of the countries I love the most, and I’m really happy to be here,” he said.
The Al-Nassr FC forward and former Liverpool star was accompanied to State House by retired Gambian referee Papa Gassama, where they were welcomed by President Adama Barrow.
Al-Nassr finished third in the Saudi Professional League this season.
