Defending Women’s FF Cup champions Red Scorpions have booked a place in the semi-finals following a 3-0 win over Brikama United Women.
In a thrilling encounter at the Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium on Wednesday, the cup holders overpowered the Sateba girls on home turf. Despite being the underdogs, Brikama United failed to capitalise on their home advantage against the country’s most consistent women’s team in recent years.
In Yundum, an in-form Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) FC secured a 3-1 victory over Prisons FC.
Last season’s finalists Berewuleng FC beat Gambia Armed Forces 2-0 at the Bakau Mini Stadium.
In Jarra Soma, Mansa Wally FC narrowly lost to Koita FC 1-0.
Red Scorpions FC, Berewuleng FC, TMT FC, and Koita FC have all progressed to what promises to be exciting semi-final encounters.
