Live Your Dreams recorded biggest win in Banjul U15 tournament

Live Your Dreams Academy recorded the biggest win in the ongoing Banjul Regional Football Association (BRFA) Under-15 Youth League 2022 after defeating Gift Academy 4-0 in the earlier game played at the Banjul KG5 mini-stadium on Saturday.

Live Your Dreams Academy opened their tournament’s Group A accounts with a comfortable win in the earlier game.

Elsewhere, Janta Bi were held to a 1-1 draw by Happy Corner in the late match played on Saturday.

In the earlier games played on Friday, Blue Diamond Academy, Gilcock Academy, and Sporting Academy respectively have also made a good start in their opening games of the tournament after their wins against Interior Academy, Lion Starts, Bena Banjul at the KG5 Mini Stadium over the weekend.

Blue Diamond opened the tournament group A match with a win after defeating Interior 3-1 in the first tournament’s encounter played on Friday. This was the only encounter played on Friday.

Elsewhere, there were two games played on Saturday after both Gilcock Academy and Bena Banjul also recorded wins in their opening group A matches.

Gilcock FC Academy defeated Lions Starts 2-1 in the earlier game played on Saturday, before Bena Banjul won Sporting Academy by the same score-line (2-1) in the late encounter on Saturday.

Meanwhile, at the time of going to press yesterday (Monday), Afia Banjul were taking on City Boys in the earlier game at 3pm, while Suna Sosseh were battling it out with Blue Diamond in the late encounter at 4pm.

The Banjul Regional Football Association (BRFA) U15 Youth League is competed by 13 Football Academies drawn into two groups (A and B) respectively.

Group A consist of Blue Diamond, Interior, Lion Starts, Gilcock Academy, Sanu Sosseh and Bena Banjul, while Group B consist of Live Your Dreams Academy, Gift Academy, Janta Bi, Happy Corner, Afia Banjul Academy, City Boys and TMT Academy.

The first four teams from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals.
