President Barrow Says he will never lose December poll

President Adama Barrow on Saturday in Banjul boosted that he will not lose the presidential election. The sitting president made this remarks shortly after casting his vote at the McCarthy Square.

Speaking to the media at the polling booth in McCarthy Square, President Barrow who contested under his party National People’s Party (NPP) boosted that “I will never lose this election and it will be the biggest landslide victory in the history of this country.”

The incumbent president expressed happiness on supports he has got throughout the country during his campaign which he described a successful one.

“I am a leader who is focused on development and that development will continue,” adding that soon after the result of the election “my people will be celebrating on the streets.”

Barrow went on to express his happiness as people come out to exercise their rights which he said  is a constitutional right of every citizen of this nation.

He however described the process of the election smooth and peaceful but definitely urged the IEC to remain neutral, “if they are neutral it makes it very easy for all of us the players and for the electorates to accept the result. So let them conduct a free, fair transparent election.”
