Court orders arrest of accused

Principal Magistrate Isatou Janneh Njie of the Kanifing Magistrate Court has issued an arrest warrant effect arrest of Musa Sabally who charged to court for stealing from the dwelling house Cherno Bah, Lamin Gassama and Bubacarr Bah.

Since the accused could not be found, Prosecutor Corrah in charge of the cased applied for warrant for his arrest this shall be extended to the surety.

After his application, Principal Magistrate Isatou Janneh Njie on that premises then revoked the bail of the accused saying “A bench warrant is hereby ordered for the accused person to be arrested and reminded in custody until the next adjourned date when the accused can be seen, the warrant shall extend to his surety if in the case that the surety is arrested, he shall immediately be granted a police bail and shall be brought to court on the next adjourned date to explained the where about of the accused person,” she added.

Meanwhile,  Musa Sabally stole from a dwelling house on or about the 30th day of March , 2021, at Old Jeshwang in Kanifing Municipality. He stole the items from the dwelling house of Cherno Bah, Lamin Gassama and Bubacarr Bah and items are – One laptop HP valued at D3,500; four mobile phones marks intel  valued at D12,000; two small bags valued at D500; two ATM Cards, national identity and passport valued at D2,500; one mobile mark Iphone 6 valued at D4,500; two pairs of shoe valued at D800 and  one mobile mark Techno valued at D3000. All totaled D26,800 ( twenty six thousand eight hundred dalasis),

ML Corrah represented the IGP, as case adjourned till the 22nd September 2021.
