Yusupha Njie scores twice as Boavista beat Gil 2-1 in Portuguese top flight 

Yusupha Njie the son of the late Gambian football legendary Alhagie Biri Biri score twice on Wednesday as he led his club Boavista beat Gil Vicente 2-1 in the Portuguese top flight.

The Gambian star helps his team to avoid relegation after he provides excellent performance for his side Boavista to move 11 places.

The Gambian young star is currently hitting front pages of the Portuguese newspaper after helping Boavista to remain in the Portuguese top flight.

After clinching three points for his team, Njie posted of his social media account: “Two massive goals to gain three massive points for his team,” Yusupha Njie said. He added that could have been a better season as the going never stops.

Yusupha have now scored 7goals in trial season for the Portuguese league with the recent victory his club has gained 3 vital away points from 11 place as Gil VICENTE leaving Boavista in 13th place.

In a recent selection for the scorpions, coach Tom Saint Fiet has named his squad list training camp in Turkey for the end this month and Yusupha Njie is among the newly selected players to take part in the training camp for the national team.
