25-year-old boy contracts coronavirus

The nation’s only person who tested for coronavirus is a 25-year-old boy following a massive test conducted by the Health Ministry which showed at least one hundred and six people testing negative for the virus.

“1 new case registered, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases ever confirmed in the country to 3,660 This represents a 1.0% test positivity rate (1 out of 106 total tests performed).The new COVID-19 case is a 25-year-old male 106 new laboratory test results received from NPHL. No new test returned indeterminant / inconclusive.

“No new patient recovered within the last 24 hours whereas no new person has been taken into quarantine, no new person was discharged either. The country currently has 4 people in quarantine, 881 active cases and a crude case-fatality ratio of 3.3%,” the Ministry of Health stated.
