4H Gambia and 4H Norway sign four-year partnership pact

4H Gambia and 4H Norway have signed a four years partnership agreement to help boost implementation between the two NGOs.

The pair signed the pact during the reviewing  of their  2019 report held in Farafenni, North Bank Region that brought together youths from NBR and CRR.

The gathering provided opportunity for youths’ club to contribute through interaction with board members in the area of youths in agriculture, education, climate change and microfinance as revolving scheme to enhance youth’s development.

Alieu Ceesay, national director for 4H Gambia described the agreement as significance milestones, adding this will help both Institutions.

He commended Global Environment Facility UNDP for the small grant to support in building capacity of farmers on environmental protection and life skills to help mitigate the effects of climate and enhance resilience building.

He also commended 4H Norway for their invaluable support in strengthening human resource and capacity program delivery, adding the new agreement with 4 H Norway would enhance resilience building on climate change, good governance, animal husbandry, cereal banking and tree planting.

A board chairman for 4H Gambia, Musa Samura, commended staff and volunteers for their support on the timely implementation of development projects, adding the board attached great importance to good governance and management.

However, Fatoumata S Bah, administrator and financial officer presented 2019 audit report and said the period witnessed stronger ties with local development partners.
