All Set for Made in Gambia Festival

All is set for the 1st edition of Made in Gambia Festival (MIGF) that seeks is to provide self-expression of Gambians through music, poetry and comedy on November 9, 2019 at Serekunda East Mini Stadium.

It is event organise by Master Nation will feature music genres including afro-manding, rap, hip hop, mbalax, rap mbalax and afro-beat.

Twelve artistes are expected to perform onstage; so far artistes confirmed include Hussain & Chanta, Miss Jobiz, Myk Jayda, Big Faa, Mad Dot, Passi Yango, Bigg Rozay, Attack, Chronik Bob, City Stars and Omaro

Fafanding  Darboe, alias Master Mind , Chief Executive Officer  of Master Nation explained that the MIGF is going to be an inaugural event that will provides a night-long musical entertainment from a wide range of genres including afro-manding, rap, hip hop, mbalax, rap mbalax and afro-beat.

He pointed out that MIGF is the first of its kind of which will feature several stages that continuously host Gambia’s own comedians, poets and artistes to showcase their talents to a wider audience.

According to him, their vision is to be part of the leading Lifestyle & Entertainment provider through the development and delivery of unique and quality products with variety.

He said the entertainment is meant to create and fulfill the lifestyle of all customers in The Gambia and Africa at large.

He explained that their mission is to develop products, services, and entertainment that fulfill the ever changing needs of customers with emphasis on human resources development to create people with knowledge, skills and potentials suitable for providing excellent services.

He added that they also want to develop quality products, operate the businesses in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance and commit to social responsibility through supports for Gambian people to have a better life.

Darboe, one of the youngest promoter noted that the strategy to attain such goals and objectives include creating products with quality, uniqueness, and variety to reach the target group.

He said it also requires having innovative and flexible marketing strategy, having efficient teamwork.

“Our business plan is in accordance with the objectives and vision of the group listed above with target financial of income,” he said.

He assured the public of maximum entertainment during the night as musicians, poets and comedians will showcase their talents in various forms to the wider audiences.
