Rawdatul Majaalis visit renowned Sukuta Imam

The senior executive members of the Majmouatu Rawdatul Majaalis headed by its 1st Vice President Cadi Abdoulie Kanteh visited the renowned Imam Ratib of Sukuta town, Imam Ismaila Baye at his Sukuta resident recently.

The purpose of the visit to Imam Baye according to the Public Relation Officer, Matmouatu Rawdatul Majaalis Abubacarr Jabbie was to thank him (Imam Ismaila Baye) for leaving behind all his engagements to attend the organization’s first-ever National Unity Conference which was held on October 12th 2019 at Semega Janneh Memorial Hall at Buffer Zone.

In receiving Cadi Kanteh and his delegation, Sukuta Imam Baye expressed his profound thanks and appreciation for the timely visit by Rawdatul Majaalis visit adding that the visit will yield something fruitful to the Muslim Ummah n the country.

“I am shaking my hands with you as if your late father, Alhajie Sheriff Kebba Nano Hydara and my late father, Alhajie Babucarr Baye are the ones shaking their hands with you,” Imam Baye informed Brufut Hydara kunda Caliph General, Pa Nano Hydara.

Sukuta renowned Imam Baye assured the members of the Majamouatu Rawdatul Majaalis for his unflinching support to them thus gear towards the teaching and propagation of Islam in the country and beyond.

He said the formation of the organization came at a right time for Gambian Muslims and even those outside the country while stressing those Muslim leaders to always distance themselves with things that is not in-line with the things that would make people dislike them (Islamic scholars).

Caliph General Brufut Hydara kunda Majlis Sect who double as the 2nd Vice President, Majmouatu Rawdatul Majaalis Pa Nano Hydara described the visit as historic and he explained the rationale behind the formation of the organization.

He assured Imam Baye of Rawdatul Majaalis’s readiness to work and seek advice from him at any time they needed while also thanking him (Imam Baye) for attending the organization’s first-ever National Unity Conference held on 12th October 2019 at Semega Janneh Memorial Hall, opposite Buffer Zone in Talinding.

In a similar but separate development, the organization members on Sunday paid a courtesy call on the Supreme Caliph General of Touane who is in the country, Alhajie Sering Mbaye Sey in Bakau to explain to him the formation of the organization.
