The Caliph General of Sutukung Jabbie Kunda Majlis Sect in Jarra East District of Lower River Region (LRR) passes away on Saturday evening at around 5pm.
Thousnads of Muslim well-wishers within the country and the sub-region attended the funeral services of the late, Alhaji Karang Abdul Wahab Jabbie at his native village of Sutukung at 2pm.
Sharing their condolences to the current Caliph General of Jabbie Kunda Majlis sect Alhaji Lasana Jabbie and the entire Jabbie Kunda Majlis sect in Sutukung shortly before the burial, the 1stVice President of Majmou Atu Rawdatul Majaalis, Cadi Abdoulie Kanteh said they were at Sutukung to share their sorrow to the brief family.
Kanteh described the late Karang Abdul Wahab Jabbie as a devoted Muslim whose entire life was devoted to the promotion and propagation of Islam in the country and even within the sub-region.
He called on the Muslim Ummah in the country and outside the country to emulate the late Caliph General for his role in the teaching of the Islam religion.
“On behalf of the entire membership ofMajmou Atu Rawdatul Majaalis and all the Muslim Ummah in the country, we pray for the decease to have rest in eternity,” Kanteh prayed.
According to Cadi Kanteh, the late Alhaji Karang Abdul Wahab Jabbie devoted his entire life in offering help to the needy people thus stressing the need for all humanity to offer prayers to him.
For his part, the current Caliph General of Sutukung Jabbie Kunda Majlis sect, Alhaji Lansana Jabbie described members of the Majmou Atu Rawdatul Majaalisas rue believes condolences as worthy.
He expressed his thanks to the entire membership of Majmou Atu Rawdatul Majaalis and the all the Muslim Ummah who paid a courtesy call on themduring their trial moment for Jabbie Kunda Majlis sect in Sutukung and beyond.
Rawdatul Majmou Atu Majaalis members was led to Sutukung by the 2nd Vice President of the organisation who double as the Caliph General of Brufut Sheriff Kunda Majlis sect, Sheriff Pa Nano Hydara and the organization PRO, Abubacarr Jabbie among others
