They can share and create ideas while bolstering their talents.  By combining talent from nations with a more established entertainment industry, new talent can blossom.

As we merge talents from across West Africa, we will give them international exposure.  The reality is that Gambian artist are struggling to find their place on the global entertainment market. Ecofest looks to bridge that gap by helping to develop the local music industry and give international exposure to local talent.

The Gambia is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world.  However, until entertainment is given its rightful purpose and place in national policies of the country, its economic value will be eroded.

Currently, entertainment is a multibillion industry worldwide. The Gambia must benefit from this and provide a music industry that enables artist to thrive economically. We encourage all musical fans to attend Ecofest and be a part of history, as musical genres representing West Africa merge on one stage yet impacting the world.
